At Kingdom Kids Christian ChildCare, our mission is to provide affordable, quality care to children in the community in a safe, caring environment.

Our staff is committed to building relationships with children and families to ensure children are learning and growing to reach their full developmental potential.

Teachers at Kingdom Kids plan and prepare lessons and activities that support children's development physically, socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
We place an emphasis on kindness and respect for each other by teaching and modelling the love of Jesus.

My name is Miss Chrissy. I have worked with children in daycare and church for over 30 years, 29 of those years at The Right Start. I am excited to work at Kingdom Kids with my daughters, Amber and Alexis. I am happily married to my best friend, Mr. Frank. We have four children, four grandchildren, and a cat and dog. I love gardening and taking pictures of nature. I like to travel; the beach is my favorite place! My favorite author is Dr. Seuss. My favorite book is the Bible. I enjoy teaching Bible lessons to the children.
My name is Miss Carol. I worked with children at The Right Start for 26 years. It has been a blessing to be a part of this team for so many years. My husband and I are originally from Vermont. We have two grown children and three grandchildren. Some of my favorite things are shark tooth hunting, visiting the beach, Christmas, ragdoll cats, and anything with my family. I love being able to teach children and watch them grow. When you see a child accomplish a milestone, it gives you such satisfaction. I look forward to having a small part in your child’s life.
My name is Miss Amber. I am a mom of two boys. At home we have two frogs, two snakes, and fish! I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and traveling. I have an Early Childhood degree from Stevenson University as well as experience with infants/toddlers, preschoolers, pre-kindergarten, school agers, and children with special needs. My favorite activities to teach are science and anything book related. I look forward to meeting new families and children.
My name is Miss Alexis. I have one son and one daughter. I enjoy art, being outside, and photography. I grew up at The Right Start where my mom, Miss Chrissy, was a teacher. I have my teacher certification and studied at Carroll Community College. My experience includes lead teaching in an infant/ toddler classroom, and assisting in preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. I also have experience in special education. I enjoy playing games, doing art activities, and cooking with the children.

We believe that children thrive in a welcoming, peaceful, caring environment which values and respects their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally and socially.

Outdoor Play
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.
Genesis 8:22
Children have several opportunities each day to get outside for sunshine, fresh air, and exercise.
We continue to add to our supply of equipment and outdoor toys and games.
Children can enjoy a large grassy area to run and play with friends.
We also engage in seasonal play, like water play in summer, nature walks and leaf play in the fall, planting flowers in spring and snow play in winter.
Creativity
We are His masterpiece,
created in Christ Jesus for good works...

Children always have an opportunity to be creative. Crayons, markers, pencils, and other craft supplies
are always available.
Teachers plan art and craft activities throughout the week. Our emphasis is on process not the final product.

The staff at Kingdom Kids CCC are family. Miss Chrissy is Miss Amber and Miss Alexis' mom. Miss Chrissy raised them at The Right Start daycare at Reisterstown Bible Church in Reisterstown where she worked and went to church for almost 30 years. Miss Carol worked and went to church with Miss Chrissy for more than 25 years.
We have met and cared for many children and families over the years.

Miss Amber and Miss Alexis grew up, became moms and teachers. They worked at TRS with Miss Chrissy and Miss Carol under the administration of Harvest Church of God which bought the property after Reisterstown Bible Church closed.
We made the hard decision to leave TRS and open Kingdom Kids so that we could serve families in Carroll County, and so that
Miss Amber and Miss Alexis could have a childcare center to continue caring for and teaching children into the future.

We are so thankful for Miss Chrissy's home church, Deer Park Bible Church and their support of Kingdom Kids.
We are starting out with a small space that will accommodate a small group of friends.
We plan to grow and expand soon.
We are trusting the Lord for His guidance and providing our needs.

Kingdom Kids Christian ChildCare
We enjoy exploring God's beautiful creation during all seasons.
At Kingdom Kids we learn about seasons, weather, and nature.
We take a hands on approach to learning and believe children learn through play and learning is fun.

Our staff has developed and continues to add to our curriculum that investigates many topics
throughout the year.
​
Monthly themes and weekly topics are taught through reading books, learning math concepts, being creative with arts and crafts, listening to different styles of music, singing songs, playing instruments, playing games with friends, learning Bible lessons and Bible verses, and much more.

Young children who go to Kingdom Kids Christian ChildCare get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth of our kids. Through fun, hands-on learning opportunities, plenty of time for play, along with Bible songs and lessons, children can grow and learn in a safe, caring environment.
